The Fiction Project

This is a project put on my Arthouse in Brooklyn, NY. Over 600+ artists have participated in this 'open-art' travelling exhibition. Each artist recieved the same Moleskin sketch book, and were responsible for transforming it into a piece of fiction based on a theme which they choose from a bank. They could do whatever the liked to the sketchbooks - as long it remained a book and within it's original dimentions. After, everyone sends their completed projects back to Arthouse, where they are put on a free exhibition display for everyone to view and enjoy.

My theme was "Lights in the Distance" and I choose the 'storybook' approach of telling a children's story. There is also some random incerpts of poety and just pinches of thoughts. Below is an assortment of my pages:
